Non-negotiable areas for all factories that are required by Starbucks to have an assessment

星巴克所有要求審核的工廠(chǎng)應(yīng)無(wú)條件符合以下標(biāo)準(zhǔn):

  1. 1.Transparency: Openness, communication, and accountability

1.透明度:開(kāi)放,溝通和負(fù)責(zé)任

  • Transparency: Starbucks expects suppliers to provide transparency into their operations, policies, processes, and relevant records to Starbucks or its designated third party. Suppliers must disclose the identity, physical location and ownership of all factories that will produce goods for Starbucks, including the use of sub-contractors.

  • 透明度:星巴克期望供應(yīng)商向星巴克或者指定的第三方提供他們的運(yùn)作、政策、程序以及相關(guān)記錄的透明度。供應(yīng)商必須披露所有為星巴克生產(chǎn)產(chǎn)品的工廠(chǎng)的名稱(chēng)、地理位置和所屬情況,包括使用分包商的情況。

  • Bribery: Money and/or gifts of any type are not offered to Starbucks or its designated third party.

  • 賄賂:不得對(duì)星巴克或者指定的第三方進(jìn)行金錢(qián)或者禮物等任何形式的賄賂。

  • Subcontracting: Suppliers disclose the identity, physical location and ownership of any subcontractors that will produce goods for Starbucks. The factory prohibits unauthorized subcontracting for production and communicates any changes of subcontractors to Starbucks for approval.

  1. 2.Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Starbucks expects suppliers to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and engage in the improvement process.

  1. 3.Child Labor:

童工

  • Legal working age: The supplier does not employ workers under the age of 16 or the legal working age.

  • 法定工作年齡:供應(yīng)商不得雇用年齡小于16歲或者低于法定工作年齡的人員。

  • Documentation: Documentation is maintained to verify the age of all workers.

  1. 4.Forced Labor: Forced Labor is work exacted under the menace of any penalty and for which the [worker] has not offered himself voluntarily.

強(qiáng)迫勞工:強(qiáng)迫勞工意為工人工作是在非自主自愿的前提下,以懲罰手段來(lái)脅迫工人工作。

  • Voluntary work: All workers provide voluntary work or service under no threat of penalty. Overtime is not mandatory.

  • 自愿工作:提供所有的工人自主自愿工作或者服務(wù)的權(quán)利,沒(méi)有任何的懲罰手段脅迫工人。加班工作是自愿的而非強(qiáng)制性的。

  • Bond, debt, prison labor: Workers are not hired under bond, debt or other obligation, nor does the facility hire or subcontract work to prison labor.

  • 債務(wù)勞工和監(jiān)獄勞工:?jiǎn)T工雇傭不應(yīng)債務(wù)等其他制約,且工廠(chǎng)不得使用監(jiān)獄工或者外發(fā)工作到監(jiān)獄。

  • Document control: There is no holding original employee documents, such as passports, without a system for employees to access those documents at will.

  • Physical restraint: There are no physical restraints to workers leaving the facility during work hours (e.g. locked exits, armed guards, etc.)

  • Deposits: Workers are not required to submit deposits that are equal of more than 1.5 times their monthly wage.

  1. 5.Payment of Wages:

工資支付

  • Minimum wage: All employees (including piece-rate, trainees and temporary workers) are paid at least the legal hourly minimum wage.

  • 最低工資:所有員工(包括計(jì)件工,實(shí)習(xí)生和臨時(shí)工)應(yīng)支付最少要相當(dāng)于法定最低的小時(shí)工資。

  • Timeliness of payments: Workers must receive monetary payment within 45 days of the labor service provided.

  • Documentation: Adequate documentation is available to verify that minimum wages are being paid to all workers.

  1. 6.Physical/Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment: Suppliers must not use or permit corporal punishment or any other form of physical or psychological coercion including verbal abuse and sexual harassment.

  1. 7.Denied Access: Suppliers must allow announced and unannounced inspections of their records and all areas of the facilities by Starbucks or a Starbucks approved third party to verify compliance to the Standards, including confidential employee interviews.

  1. 8.Environmental Impacts: The supplier / facility does not create significant Environmental issues causing direct and immediate environmental endangerment (i.e. toxic waste disposal)

  環(huán)境影響:供應(yīng)商/工廠(chǎng)不會(huì)對(duì)周邊環(huán)境引起重大的污染問(wèn)題以至于造成直接和立即的環(huán)境破壞。(如有毒廢棄物的排放)

  1. 9.Life Safety: The supplier / facility does not create significant health and safety issues causing direct and immediate employee endangerment (i.e.: no secondary exits, no emergency alarm system, blocked primary aisles, blocked exits, locked exits without easy emergency access, hazardous electrical wiring, unsafe structural engineering, no protective equipment for workers and machinery at all, etc…)

   生命安全:供應(yīng)商/工廠(chǎng)不存在直接和立即造成員工危害的重大健康與安全問(wèn)題。(如無(wú)第二出口,無(wú)緊急 報(bào)警系統(tǒng),主通道受阻,緊急出口被阻,出口被鎖且不能逃生,有危險(xiǎn)的電源線(xiàn),不安全操作結(jié)構(gòu),員工及機(jī)器無(wú)任何保護(hù)裝置等)
